Fire ventilation systems
from concept to comissioning
Our offer
We provide support to fire ventilation system designers, architects, fire experts, investors, and general contractors in the field of fire ventilation system solutions for buildings at every stage of project implementation, construction, commissioning, reconstruction, and use.
Concept
We prepare design concepts for natural and mechanical fire ventilation systems and pressure differential systems, along with calculations and drawing documentation.
Design
We develop technical designs for natural and mechanical fire ventilation systems, including jet ventilation systems and pressure differential systems.
Consultations
We provide consulting services in the field of fire ventilation systems, CFD numerical analyses and evacuation conditions in fire safety engineering.
CFD analysis
We perform numerical analyses to assess the effectiveness of fire ventilation systems and other specialized CFD analyses.
Evacuation modelling
Using computer simulations, we calculate the egress time of people from buildings, considering their geometry.
Tunnels
We provide full design services for road and rail tunnels ventilation systems and development of operational scenarios.
Hot smoke tests
We conduct acceptance and control tests of fire ventilation systems using hot non-polluting and non-toxic smoke.
Fire ventilation measurements
We perform measurements of fire ventilation systems and pressure differential systems in areas of evacuation routes.
Technical opinions
We prepare technical opinions on adopted design solutions for fire ventilation systems in buildings.
About us
ARDOR was founded by Ewa Sztarbała in 2002.
We have many years of experience gained through project implementation and training at renowned international institutions, such as the University of Greenwich, the University of Leeds and the University of Edinburgh.
Since 2013, we have been actively involved in shaping European design standards, participating in the work of the CEN Technical Committee TC191/SC1 on smoke and heat control systems, including working groups on smoke ventilation, jet ventilation systems for underground garages, and pressure differential systems.
On December 30, 2019, the company was appointed a member of the Technical Subcommittee No. 1 of the Polish Committee for Standardization for Smoke and Heat Control Systems in Technical Subcommittee No. 180 on Fire Safety of Buildings.
We operate in the market as an independent company.
We are members of the Association of Fire Engineers and Technicians (SITP) and the Polish Association of Wind Engineering (PSIW).
